In this workshop, you will be guided through your art-making process while learning:
- How to invite compassion through mindfulness.
- How to implement healthier boundaries.
- How to embrace your own needs, wants and desires.
- How to become more present and live more mindfully.
This is a creative and explorative workshop integrating therapeutic art making with guided mindfulness meditation, open to all levels of experience. In this workshop we will explore ways to deepen our understanding of mindfulness and self-compassion. We will also explore the potential barriers to self-compassion and learn about the concept of “compassionate presence”.
The session will develop your understanding of mindfulness, compassion and self. The practices of mindfulness and compassion have the potential to support our own personal well-being. From the basis of self-care and kindness we may find new ways to be able to meet and respond to the various challenges we are experiencing.
All levels of experience with mindfulness and/or art making are welcome to attend!
