Welcome!
It’s my pleasure to present myself and my work to you. I trust that life has brought you to this page for a reason.
Before I realised that I was born to be an Artist, Art Therapist and a Writer, I spent over a decade working within the area of mental health and wellbeing as a Psychotherapist and an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker.I am still working within this area, specialising in chronic pain (TMS) and trauma recovery (you can read more about my personal journey with these issues in my book Coming to Life).
The experiences I gained within those years have been immensely insightful in helping me dive deeper within myself and release my own unconscious blocks in order to support others with doing the same. My own personal growth has taken me on a creative (and spiritual) journey beyond my wildest dreams. I believe that healing is a divine passage that unfolds in stages depending on our readiness and conscious awareness.
From a fairly young age I had this innate feeling within me that I was born to create. I had no idea what to create nor what my purpose might be in this lifetime. But something within me knew that as long as I followed my heart and lived with faith, I would be guided. This is exactly what has continued to happen!
I believe that creativity helps us to crack open the authentic and powerful energy of our soul and to move into a space where we can be authentically ourselves, without fear or comparison. Most of all I believe that creativity has the power to heal, transform, awaken and empower us. You can find out more about me and my book in my interview with The Disruptive Author Magazine here.
I am passionate about helping people achieve meaningful connections, assisting them to reconnect and work towards developing a closer, stronger and more secure relationship with themselves and in turn with others. My aim with my work is to support my clients with experiencing a new reference point for happiness and to overcome struggles, feel fulfilled and develop enhanced self-compassion, irrespective of adversity.
My motto in life is simple, “supporting my clients in creating authentic power within themselves and in turn being able to make what was once difficult, easier”. My intention lies in helping my clients feel heard, understood and supported so that they can start to connect with their true nature and practice living their lives from a space of love as opposed to fear. I am a great believer that life is a mirror and that our outer world reflects our inner world and once we start to understand that, we have so much more power than we can imagine as we can choose to be victors, as opposed to victims of our circumstances.
For me, life is about growth and expansion. I see every experience in life as an opportunity to become more insightful, conscious and empowered. My focus lies in remaining present with my clients, while creating a fully open and authentic space where magic can take place. My workshops and one-on-one sessions are inclusive of Intuitive Guidance, Inner Child Work, Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, Archetypal Work, Meditation, Mindfulness, Yoga, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Art Therapy, The Polyvagal Theory and Somatic Therapy. I specialise in Tension Myosistic Syndrome (TMS), which addresses chronic pain management, and includes the work of Dr. John Sarno. I have knowledge of Compassionate Inquiry, which is a psychotherapeutic method developed by Dr.Gabor Maté that reveals what lies beneath the appearance that we present to the world.
